John is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a passion for providing the utmost quality of services to individuals struggling with mental health and substance use disorders.
While serving in the United States Army, he provided counseling to soldiers, military families with in his 23 year career.
John received an Associate’s degree in Biblical Counseling; Bachelor’s degree in Religion from Liberty University and his Master’s of Arts in Professional Counseling from Amberton University; John is currently studying for his Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
John implements Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person Centered Therapy and Eclectic psychotherapy style interventions in his practice. “I have found that when using these interventions, individuals have the ability to overcome and understand their unhealthy or dysfunctional thought processes.”
